Subprocessors
Last updated April 6, 2026Eidon uses a small number of third-party service providers ("subprocessors") to operate the Services. This page lists each subprocessor, the type of data they process, and where they are located.
Current Subprocessors
| Subprocessor | Purpose | Data Processed | Location |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Payment processing | Email address, payment method, subscription status | United States |
| Resend | Transactional email delivery | Email address, OTP codes, license keys | United States |
| Neon | Database hosting | Email address, license key, subscription ID, quota records | United States (AWS us-east-1) |
| Vercel | Website and API hosting | IP address (server logs), HTTP request metadata | United States |
User-Configured Providers
During setup, you choose an LLM provider for AI-powered features. This provider receives code context directly from your machine. Eidon does not act as an intermediary. Your choice of provider is entirely under your control.
| Provider | Data Sent | Configured By |
|---|---|---|
| OpenRouter | Code context for analysis queries | User during eidon init |
| OpenAI | Code context for analysis queries | User during eidon init |
| Anthropic | Code context for analysis queries | User during eidon init |
| Ollama (local) | Code context (stays on your machine) | User during eidon init |
If you select Ollama, no data leaves your machine at all. API keys for external providers are stored locally in ~/.eidon/ and are never sent to Eidon servers.
Changes to This List
We will update this page when we add or remove a subprocessor. If we add a new subprocessor that handles personal data, we will notify existing customers via email at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
If you have concerns about a subprocessor, contact us at support@eidon.dev.
